WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Due to Hurricane Dorian, the women's 2019 Sailfish Fall Tennis Invitational was moved to this past weekend where Palm Beach Atlantic hosted Barry, Keiser, Saint Leo, Rollins, Lynn and Florida Southern.
 
In doubles competition, the team of Shelby Groeneveld and Yuliia Russu finished in third place in the first flight. In the second flight, Elvira Edstrom and Consuela Van Grinsven placed fourth after falling short in their match against Lynn, 8-3).
 
Edstrom boasted the best finish for the Sailfish in singles competition. She finished fourth in the fourth flight after beating Keiser's Joyce Nouws, 6-3, 6-3. Another notable finish for PBA was Groeneveld's fifth place finish in the second flight.
 
The Sailfish travel to Pensacola, Florida, next weekend to compete in the ITA South Region Tournament. To see the full results of the Sailfish Invitational, click here.
