MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis team finished the fall schedule this past weekend at the Barry Bucs Invitational. The 'Fish faced elite programs from Divison II and NAIA, including Barry, Keiser, Nova Southeastern and Hillsborough. 

Yuliia Russu and Vanessa Buchbinder kicked the tournament off for the 'Fish on Friday in doubles action, defeating Keiser's Anais Gabriel/Daniela Farfan, 8-5. 

Estefani Fernandez was the only 'Fish to win her singles match on Friday, winning in two sets over Maria Maurine from Nova Southeastern 6-4, 6-3.

Although the Sailfish struggled to earn positive results for the remainder of the tournament, Beatriz Windmuller made waves on Sunday when she won 6-4, 6-2 over Barry's Carla Davila.

Women's tennis will now prepare for the spring season of competition.
