WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball team took a break from NCAA South Region contests on Saturday afternoon by traveling across town to take on Northwood University at the Hoernle Student Life Center. The Seahawks fell to the Sailfish in straight sets with head coach Bob White utilizing nearly his entire roster to earn the 3-0 sweep as PBA extends their winning streak to 15 matches in a row.

Palm Beach Atlantic now stands at 25-3 on the season while tallying their 19th 3-0 sweep of the season as the claimed wins of 25-10, 25-18 and 27-17.

Playing their usual starting lineup for the opening set the ‘Fish put together a dominating .538 team hitting percentage with 16 kills and just two errors while limiting Northwood to a -.050 hitting percentage as they posted three kills and four errors.

Sophomore Faith Rohn led all players in the match with 12 kills while adding in seven digs on the afternoon. Stephany Brown and Christina Alessi each chipped in five kills to aid the cause.

Becca Acevedo produced 24 assists in the victory while Alex Marsalek added in five assists and five digs. Melissa Buckingham led all players with 12 digs while Rachael Holehouse contributed nine digs.

Northwood was led by eight kills from Nikki McKown while Danielle Lampman posted 11 digs in defeat.

The Sailfish will host Barry University for their final home contest of the 2013 season on Tuesday, Nov. 5th with the teams set to begin at 7 pm in the Rubin Arena.
