WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Sailfish volleyball team pushed their win streak to 20 straight matches on Tuesday night at the Rubin Arena when they handed Warner University a 3-0 sweep. The Fish had little trouble tallying the win as they improved to 22-2 on the season while taking on their first of two Sun Conference opponents this week as they will welcome in St. Thomas University on Thursday.

Freshman Rachel Jones led a strong PBA hitting effort on the night as the Wadsworth, Ohio native pounded out a career-high 13 kills with just two hitting errors for a spectacular .550 attacking percentage. She wouldn’t be alone in top-notch individual performances as PBA cruised to 25-13, 25-11 and 25-17 wins over the Royals (7-7).

As a team, the Fish connected for a .291 attacking percentage while holding the Royals to a -.013 mark for the match.

Adding to Jones big night was fellow freshman Faith Rohn who produced eight kills while adding in five digs. Mariela Quesada and Melissa Buckingham led the team with nine digs each.

Becca Acevedo and Alex Marszalek split the setting duties on the night with 21 assists from Acevedo and eight assists from Marszalek.

Warner was led by four kills from Jenni Cook.

The Sailfish will host St. Thomas at 7 pm on Thursday.
