WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's volleyball earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year as announced by the AVCA earlier this week. 

The Sailfish were among 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs recognized nationally for maintaining a year-long team grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. The AVCA Team Academic Award honors volleyball programs that demonstrate a commitment to academic achievement alongside success on the court. 

The volleyball program posted a 3.41 team grade-point average during the academic year, surpassing the 3.3 GPA requirement to earn the prestigious national recognition. The recognition caps another successful year for the Sailfish, who advanced to the NCAA postseason in 2025 while continuing to prioritize excellence in the classroom.
