WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Entering his second season on the Palm Beach Atlantic University Men's Soccer staff, Leo Jean-Jacques has been promoted to a full-time assistant coach by Head Coach Lucas Martorana.

"Leo joined our environment after a successful collegiate and post-collegiate playing career. From day one, he committed himself to our program, the university, and learning the demands of the SSC," says Head Coach Lucas Martorana. "Leo has had a tremendous impact on developing our players, supporting the style and identity of the program, and serving as a dependable contributor in every aspect of the job, both on and off the field."

Leo joined the Sailfish squad last summer and was an instrumental part of helping the team perform at it's peak, bringing home it's first SSC Regular Season Championship since 2021 along with the teams first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2021.

"After an incredible first year at PBA, I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue growing and serving our community," says Jean-Jacques, "Thank you to Lucas, Courtney, the staff, and the student-athletes at PBA for your support, confidence, and belief throughout this journey. The work continues."

Prior to coaching at PBA, Leo was apart of the coaching staff for FC Florida, being an associate head coach for both the mens and womens teams.

Leo also played professionally overseas with stops in Germany and Portugal, most notably Académica OAF in the Portuguese third division.

Leo is from the South Florida region and spent his collegiate career at Johnson and Wales in Miami.

"As a South Florida native with international playing experience in Germany and Portugal, Leo brings a unique blend of local connections and a global perspective," adds Martorana. "I'm excited to have him as part of the PBA family and look forward to seeing him continue to invest in, support, and challenge our players to grow holistically—not only as soccer players, but as young men of strong character and academic excellence."
