WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team lost to Thomas Jefferson University 6-1 on Sunday at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center. The 'Fish managed to secure their lone point with a victory in the No. 6 singles match.
Thomas Jefferson claimed the doubles point with a sweep of all three matches. At No. 3 doubles,
Saidakbar Kamalov and
Marko Visontai were defeated 6-1.
Noah Muyale and
Alejandro Rol Franco took the court at No. 2 doubles but fell 6-3.
Peter Dragar and
Milan Visontai competed at No. 1 doubles, ending with a 6-4 loss.
In singles play, the 'Fish faced tough competition.
Marko Visontai battled at No. 5 singles but was defeated 6-4, 6-2.
Lucas Hoyos played at No. 3 singles, ending with a 7-6, 6-0 loss.
Kylian Coiteux shone at No. 6 singles, earning a 7-6, 6-1 victory, securing PBA's sole point of the match.
Milan Visontai played at No. 1 singles and was defeated 7-5, 6-3.
Matthew Young took on his opponent at No. 4 singles, finishing with a 6-4, 6-4 loss. Meanwhile, the No. 2 singles match featuring
Alejandro Rol Franco was left unfinished, tied at one set each.
