WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - After a first-place finish in the 1500m, running a remarkable 4:43.66, which was a top-five-best finish in program history, the Sunshine State Conference has rewarded
Jeanne Corroy with the SSC Long Distance Runner of the Week.
Corroy, a transfer student from the University of Charleston, and native of Champagne-Ardenne, France achieved her best finish as a Sailfish in last week's NSU Alumni Invitational, beating out her 3rd place finish in the Swan City Cross Country Classic back in September where she made her Sailfish debut.
This is Corroy's first SSC Runner of the Week honors, and the program's first of the season.
The 'Fish will be back in action on March 13th as they travel to Tampa to take part in the Tampa Spartans Classic.
