WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team lost to Keiser 6-1 on Monday at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center. The Sailfish captured their lone point with a win at No. 2 singles.
Keiser took the doubles point with victories on courts one and two.
Alejandro Rol Franco and
Milan Visontai fell 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.
Matthew Young and
Bernardo Moutinho were defeated 6-0 at No. 2 doubles. The match on court three was left unfinished, with
Niki Dusterer and
Noah Muyale still competing.
In singles action,
Niki Dusterer was overtaken 6-0, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.
Milan Visontai faced a 6-3, 6-1 defeat at No. 1 singles.
Saidakbar Kamalov battled at No. 5 singles but was bested 6-3, 6-2.
Alejandro Rol Franco earned the 'Fish their sole singles victory with a hard-fought 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
Bernardo Moutinho pushed hard but fell 7-6(4), 6-3 at No. 4 singles, while
Marko Visontai ended the match with a tough 5-7, 6-3, 10-4 tiebreak loss at No. 3 singles.
The Sailfish return to the court on Friday when they host Rollins at 2:30 p.m.
