WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team lost to #1 Barry with a final score of 0-7 on Thursday at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center. The 'Fish were unable to capture any victories in singles or doubles, resulting in a comprehensive sweep.
In doubles action, the duo of
Lucas Hoyos and
Bernardo Moutinho fell 6-2 on court two.
Saidakbar Kamalov and
Marko Visontai were defeated 6-2 on court three. Meanwhile,
Peter Dragar and
Milan Visontai battled on court one but ended with a 6-4 defeat.
Moving to singles,
Saidakbar Kamalov faced a challenging match and was defeated 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
Peter Dragar competed at No. 3 singles but fell 6-0, 6-3.
Alejandro Rol Franco was overpowered at No. 5 singles, concluding with a 6-1, 6-3 loss.
Lucas Hoyos encountered a tough opponent at No. 2 singles and finished with a 6-1, 6-1 defeat.
Kylian Coiteux struggled at No. 4 singles, resulting in a 6-3, 6-1 loss. Finally,
Milan Visontai fought hard at No. 1 singles but ultimately succumbed 6-2, 7-5.
