LAKELAND, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's cross-country team raced early this morning in a 6k race at the Swan City Cross Country Classic hosted by Southeastern University. Fueled by a Hayden Tank third- place finish, the Sailfish took fifth place in the team standings.
Hayden Tank led the way for PBA with a time of 18:55.7 and a third-place finish. Not far behind him was Charlie Roberts finishing in 19:02.0. Aedan Lydon, looking to build off a solid freshman season, rounded out the top three PBA runners with a time of 19:23.2 which was good enough for a 13th place finish.
Hans Payne came across the line in 54th place with a time of 20:25.7. Jamin Dewitt rounded out the top five Sailfish runners with a time of 121:13.4 in 76th place overall. Max Buonomo, Baden Tull, and AJ Duda all finished inside the top 100 overall but did not crack the Sailfish top five.
The Sailfish next meet comes at the tail end of this month when they head to Kenosha, Wisconsin to take on the Lucian Rosa Invite hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
