PETERSBURG, VA.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team finished in second place at the 2025 Griffin Invitational. Their first tournament of the season, hosted by Saint Leo in Virginia, ended with two Sailfish in the top ten and the remaining golfers all finishing in the top 25.  

Nicholas Estrada, the top Sailfish finisher, shot three-under par for the tournament (69, 70, 72) and finished in sixth place overall. Raines Holmes finished closely behind with a one-under par finish (75, 69, 71) for the tournament. Holmes earned a 7th place finish.  

Freshman Kellen Adickes shot an impressive six-under 66 in round one but came back to the pack in rounds two and three. Adickes finished in 14th place at two under par (66, 77, 75). Cole Gillis and Justus Verge rounded out the PBA squad with 20th and 23rd place finishes respectively. Gillis finished at four under par (75, 70, 75) and Verge finished one behind at 5 under par (73, 73, 75).  

The Sailfish return to the course on September 9th when they head to St. Augustine for the Jay Jennison Cup hosted by Flagler College.
