WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team finished in third place at the 2026 Battle at the Lakes, held in Miami Lakes, Fla., with an impressive final score of +1.
The Sailfish showcased remarkable improvement, overcoming a challenging first round of +13 to shoot a stellar -12 in the second round, culminating in an even par final round.
Leading the charge was
Nick Estrada, who secured an eighth-place finish at -3, demonstrating consistent play capped by an even-par final round.
Jordan Verge also made a strong showing, finishing the tournament at even par and claiming 17th place after delivering an even final round.
Cole Gillis contributed significantly with a +3 overall score, highlighted by a one-under-par in the final round, placing him 26th.
Justus Verge rounded out the Sailfish squad in a tied for 62nd with a score of 12-over par for the tournament.
Dimarco Benallo finished fifth on the team in 75th place overall with a score of 15-over par.
The Sailfish have some time off and will head back to the links on April 19th for the SSC Championships.
