Ft. LAUDERDALE, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team finished in a tie for ninth at the 2026 Shark Invitational with a team total of 869. The performance was highlighted by
Cole Gillis's impressive T-20 finish, scoring a final 214 (+1).
Gillis excelled during the second round, shooting a stellar 65 (-6), despite challenges in the first and third rounds with scores of 73 (+2) and 76 (+5), respectively. Nicholas Estrada maintained consistency, tying for 38th place with scores of 73 (+2), 73 (+2), and an even-par 71 in the final round, totaling 217 (+4).
Jordan Verge showed improvement through each round, finishing tied for 44th with scores of 74 (+3), 73 (+2), and 72 (+1), culminating in a 219 (+6).
Estrada's steady play secured him a tie for 38th with a total of 217 (+4), ending with an even-par round. Verge finished tied for 44th at 219 (+6), showing improvement each day.
Justus Verge closed with a score of 220 (+7), tying for 50th.
Dimarco Benallo completed the team effort, tying for 69th with a total of 226 (+13).
The Sailfish finish off the regular season with their final tournament next week down in Miami Shores hosted by Barry.
