WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic men's soccer team is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season, announcing a competitive slate featuring 15 matches – including nine chances for fans to pack the Rinker Athletic Complex and cheer on the Sailfish.
"I'm excited for what's ahead in the 2025 season," Head Coach
Lucas Martorana adds. "Men's soccer in the Sunshine State Conference is packed with high-caliber opponents, and that's exactly what we want: to number ourselves with the best. On top of that, our Southeast Region schedule features talented, well-coached programs, and those regional matchups will be critical in shaping our postseason path."
PBA kicks off the season with back-to-back home games, opening against West Alabama on Sep. 4 before hosting Tusculum on Sep. 6. The 'Fish will then hit the road for their first away stretch, traveling to face Wingate on Sep. 16 and Lenoir-Rhyne on Sep. 18.
Sunshine State Conference play begins at home as the Sailfish welcome Saint Leo on Sep. 20. The conference schedule promises plenty of action, with PBA facing all ten SSC opponents this fall. Fans can catch home matchups against Florida Southern, Florida Tech, Lynn, and Rollins, while the team's road matches include Tampa, Barry, Embry-Riddle, Eckerd, and Nova Southeastern. The Sailfish will step out of conference play briefly to host Florida Memorial on Oct. 11.
The Sailfish returned to postseason for the first time since 2022 where they faced Lynn, ultimately dropping the contest 4-1. Head Coach Martorana embarks on his fourth season at the helm for the 'Fish, aiming to make waves this fall and fight for a deep run in the SSC. "I'm confident and full of belief that we're set up for success, and we'll put in the preparation and work to earn results week in and week out," Head Coach Martorana contributes.
