WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball program has set its schedule for the upcoming 2025 season. The competitive 2025 schedule features 29 matches, with 13 showdowns at home inside the Rubin Arena.
PBA begins the season on road at the Fairmont State Volleyball Classic taking on UVA-Wise, Fairmont State, Elizabeth City State, Slippery Rock. For the second weekend, the Sailfish head to Valdosta State for a tournament including regional opponents, Georgia College, Valdosta State, Shorter, and Anderson.
The Sailfish start their home schedule in style, hosting their annual Bash at the Beach tournament. PBA takes on Lee University on Sep. 19, followed by matchups against Missouri-St. Louis and Flagler on Sep. 20.
"I'm super excited to host the Bash at the Beach again this year. Our program loves bringing opportunities for the 'Fish Tank to get out early and often. Rubin is a special place, and we have a great slate at home this year!" head coach Huebner adds.
Following the home opener, PBA hits the road for the first time to face Lynn on Sep. 26 before returning to the Rubin Arena for a three-game home stretch. The Sailfish will battle Nova Southeastern on Sep. 27, Tampa on Oct. 3, and Florida Southern on Oct. 4.
A busy October continues with a weekend trip to face Barry and Saint Leo on Oct. 11. Back at home, the 'Fish will wrap up non-conference play against Embry-Riddle on Oct. 17 and Florida Tech on Oct. 18.
The Sunshine State Conference schedule begins on the road with Nova Southeastern on Oct. 21. Fans can catch exciting SSC home action against Barry, Saint Leo, and Lynn, while the team's road slate includes matchups against Florida Southern, Tampa, Florida Tech, Embry-Riddle, Eckerd, and Rollins.
"This year's schedule is highlighted by the Sunshine State Conference league play. Our league is the strongest in Division II, and we love the opportunity that it brings for our program to commit to being Elite every day," Huebner states.
Entering his second season leading the Sailfish, Coach Huebner is eager to continue building momentum from 2024. "Our fans will love to watch this year's team. We are physical, passionate, and committed to making the Rubin THE place to be in the fall."
