GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's golf team concluded competition at the NCAA Super Region tournament on Wednesday.
Making its first appearance in program history at NCAA Regionals, the Sailfish finished strong on Wednesday. After finishing the day in 16
th on Tuesday, PBA finished with a team score of 294 as a team on Wednesday, tying for the second lowest team single round score in program history, helping the 'Fish climb up to 13
th.
Celia Schrecker led the way for the Sailfish. She battled rainy conditions to shoot a 2-under 70 in round three. Today's performance lifted Schrecker to a ninth-place finish in the tournament (75-74-70). She capped off the tournament with a birdie putt on 18.
Annika Miller was PBA's second-best finisher. She started the tournament well with a team-best 74 in round one. She finished the tournament 11-over-par to finish 43
rd on the individual leaderboard (74-78-75).
Jaycee Jenkins improved each day of the tournament. The freshman shot a 73 (+1) in round three on her way to placing 54
th (79-76-73).
Riley Hamilton finished the tournament in 76
th. She ended play 16-over-par (79-77-76).
Nina Gudgeon competed in the first two round of the tournament, shooting 82 in round one and 81 in round two.
Renata Petersen subbed in for the final round of the tournament. She shot an 82 in the final round.
Although the season comes to an end, the Sailfish women's golf program will look to build off its historic season under head coach
Tim Graham.
