GREENWOOD, S.C.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's golf team finished in third place at the Greenwood Women's Invitational, achieving a 54-hole total of 907.
Abby Smith led the charge for the 'Fish with a stellar third-place individual finish, posting rounds of 70, 72, and 79.
Smith's impressive 221 (+5) was the highlight for PBA, starting strong with a 70 (-2) in the first round and closing with rounds of 72 (E) and 79 (+7).
Celia Schrecker was a consistent force, tying for 11th with an overall score of 228 (+12), carding rounds of 75 (+3), 77 (+5), and 76 (+4).
Nina Gudgeon tied for 16th place, finishing with a total of 231 (+15) and showing significant improvement with a closing round of 73 (+1) after initial rounds of 80 (+8) and 78 (+6).
Annika Miller delivered solid performances to finish 19th, compiling a total score of 232 (+16) with rounds of 77 (+5), 78 (+6), and 77 (+5).
Jaycee Jenkins tied for 25th at 235, rebounding impressively with a second-round 73. Competing as an individual,
Ashley Tarkanian finished 20th with a score of 233, showcasing the depth of talent within the Sailfish ranks.
The Sailfish close out the regular season next week at the Lynn Invitational in Boca Raton.
