WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Four student-athletes from Palm Beach Atlantic University were recognized for their hard work in the classroom and on the green as the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced its Academic All-American Scholar teams. The 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar teams, selected by the WGCA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the green and in the classroom.

Women's Golf has had four student athletes recognized for their hard work as Nina Gudgeon, Ashley Tarkanian, and Cara Hilburn all were given the honor for the very first time in their careers. Annika Miller returns to the scholar team for the third time in her career.

Nina Gudgeon showed out for the Sailfish, being the teams' best finisher in two tournaments, grouped with one top ten, three top 25, and nine top 50 finishes on the year. Her best finish overall was seventh place at the Flagler Fall Slam. Annika Miller, also had a stellar year on the green as well, boasting two top 25 appearances and six top 50 appearances, her best finish came at the SSC Championships where she finished tenth. Cara Hilburn also had a big year for the 'Fish as she Recorded five top-50 finishes, with her best finish came with a tie for 26th at the Rollins Invitational. As for Ashley Tarkanian, she is the only non-senior to make the list from PBA as she spent her sophomore year being a big contributor to the team as she totaled out with one top-25 finish and three top-50 finishes.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association was founded in 1983 and is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 750 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent. In order to qualify, the student athletes nominated must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
