MELBOURNE, Fla.- Multiple members of the Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team were named to the first, second, and third All-SSC teams. The poll, voted on by the league's coaches, was announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon.
Justus Verge, named to the first team on the men's side, led the way for the Sailfish this season. His second All-SSC team in as many years, Justus played in nine events for PBA this year with a scoring average of 72.36. Verge also had an individual win at the Trailblazer Spring Invitational.
Raines Holmes was named to the second All-SSC team. Holmes, sporting a season scoring average of 73.04 in 10 events, he had four top-ten finishes which included two solo second-place finishes. Holmes also had a low round of 65 this year. Nick Estrada was also named to an All-SSC team. He made the third team with five events this spring. He had a scoring average of 73 and a season low round of 66.
The men's golf team heads to Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida next week for the Men's NCAA DII South Golf Regionals for the first time in program history.
