WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team fell to the Florida Southern Mocs on Thursday afternoon by a score of 0-7 in the team's final home match.
In the doubles session, Luis Eduardo Platas and Milan Visontai dropped their match by a score of 1-6. Matthew Young and Juanfer Contreras, playing in the second position, lost their matchup 3-6. Marko Visontai and Peter Dragar fought but lost their third position matchup 2-6.
Moving onto the singles session, Luis Eduardo Platas pushed his matchup to a final tiebreaker but lost 6-3, 4-6, 0-1 (2-10). Milan Visontai lost his matchup 5-7, 3-6. In the third position, Juanfer Contreras lost by a score of 2-6, 4-6. Peter Dragar, playing in the fourth position, lost 5-7, 0-6. In the fifth position, Marko Visontai got blanked 0-6, 0-6. Alejandro Rol Franco also fought to a tiebreaker but ultimately fell 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (6-10).
The Sailfish return to the courts one final time on Saturday afternoon when they head to Flagler.
