ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team dropped its season finale to Flagler on Saturday afternoon by a score of 0-7. The Sailfish men's tennis team finishes the year with a total record of 4-16 and a 1-6 record in league play.
In the doubles session, Juanfer Contreras and Luis Eduardo Platas dropped their opening matchup by a score of 2-6. In the third position, Noah Muyale and Saidakbar Kamalov fell 2-6 as well. Kylian Coiteux and Matthew Young, playing in the second position, were down 2-5 but the matchup went unfinished with the doubles point already clinched by Flagler.
Moving onto the singles session, Luis Eduardo Platas lost 1-6, 1-6. In the second position, Milan Visontai pushed his opponent to the brink but lost 6-3, 5-7, 0-1 (8-10). Juanfer Contreras kept it close but fell by a score of 3-6, 4-6 in the third position.
In the fourth position, Marko Visontai dropped his match 1-6, 3-6. Imani Beharry, playing in the fifth position, ultimately fell 1-6, 4-6. In the final match of the session, Alejandro Rol Franco fell 3-6, 3-6.
