BOCA RATON, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team dropped its matchup with #38 Lynn University on Monday afternoon by a score of 2-5.
The doubles session did not start off how the Sailfish hoped with Luis Eduardo Platas and Milan Visontai dropped their first position matchup 2-6. However, Matthew Young and Juanfer Contreras tied the session up with their 6-2 win. With the session tied at one, it came down to Peter Dragar and Marko Visontai for PBA. They came out with the third session win by a score of 7-5 and in turn the doubles point.
Moving onto singles, Luis Eduardo Platas dropped his first position matchup 2-6, 4-6. Milan Visontai got the only win for PBA in singles by a score of 7-6 (7-3), 6-2. Juanfer Contreras, playing in the third position, fell 2-6, 3-6. Kylian Coiteux dropped his fourth position matchup 5-7, 1-6. Playing in the fifth position, Imani Beharry lost by a score of 2-6, 2-6. In the sixth and final singles position, Saidakbar Kamalov lost his matchup 3-6, 3-6.
The Sailfish return to the court on Thursday at 2 p.m. when they take on Florida Southern at the Rinker Athletic Campus.
