WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team dropped their match with the Jefferson Rams on Sunday afternoon.
The Sailfish started off the doubles session hot with a 6-4 win from Alejandro Rol Franco and Milan Visontai. Matthew Young and Noah Muyale dropped their third position match next also by a score of 4-6. It all came down to Imani Beharry and Saidakbar Kamalov in the second position. However, they fell in a tight match 5-7 to give the Rams the doubles point.
In the first position, Luis Eduardo Platas gave up a one set lead and ultimatley dropped his match in three sets. Moving on to the second position, Milan Visontai came from behind in his match and won 4-6, 6-2, 7-5.
Marko Visontai, playing in the third position, dropped his match 5-7, 1-6. Juanfer Contreras took his fourth position match convincingly 6-1, 6-0. Peter Dragar did the same in the fifth position and won 6-3, 6-0. In the sixth position, Kylian Coiteux dropped his match 5-7, 4-6, and the Sailfish ultimately dropped the match 3-4.
The Sailfish return to action on Monday morning when they host Mississippi College at 10:30 a.m.
