MELBOURNE, Fla.- After taking home the individual victory at the Cherokee Valley Spring Bash hosted by North Greenville University, Justus Verge was named Men's Golfer of the Week in the SSC on Monday afternoon. This is the second SSC weekly award of Verge's career. 

Verge, a junior from Bozeman, Montana cleared the rest of the field by eight shots with a score of 5-under for the 36-hole tournament. He shot 70-69 for a total of 139. Verge carded 21 pars, 12 birdies, and an eagle to help bring the Sailfish an 18-shot team victory.  

With the Battle at the Shores tournament canceled this week due to heavy rain and unplayable conditions, Verge will return to the course alongside the Sailfish men's team April 13th-15th at the Sunshine State Conference Tournament in Orlando, Florida.
