WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team sent two different squads to the Kona Keiser Kup which started on Sunday and finshed on Tuesday afternoon. Both teams played well with the "A" team taking third place and the "B" team finishing in seventh. Wind conditions and lots of water on the Okeheelee golf course made it a difficult challenge but the Sailfish were up to the task.
Justus Verge led the way for the Sailfish and finished the tournament in third place overall with a score of +3 for the tournament. Raines Holmes followed closely behind with a score of +5 after it was all said and done for a sixth-place finish. Jordan Verge, was right behind him with an eighth-place finish at +6 over the 54 holes tournament.
Nicholas Estrada rounded out the top four for the Sailfish with a score of +9, good enough for an 11th place finish. Cole Gillis rounded out the "A" squad with a final score of +20 and a 45th place finish.
Trey Tesiero played his way to the top of the "B" squad with a +15 score and a 28th place finish. Just one shot behind him was Billy Reid with a final score of +16 and a 31st place finish. Niko Karoutsos finished in third on the "B" team and 33rd overall with a score of +17. Ty Cooper rounded out the top four of the squad with a score of +22 and a 49th place finish. Caleb Lynady and Chris Lee finished in 59th and 73rd overall, respectively.
