Baseball Explodes with 15 Runs in Win over Lions

SAINT LEO, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic baseball team took the first game of a three-game series with an offensive outburst of 15 runs on 19 hits on Friday night.

The game started off tight in the first two innings with the game tied at one heading into the top of the third. The Sailfish strung together multiple hits in the inning and put up a six spot in the inning and take a 7-1 lead. However, the Lions responded with three runs of their own in the bottom of the inning.

The Sailfish put up multiple runs in the fifth and sixth innings while holding the Lions off the board. The Sailfish put up six unanswered runs on the board in the fifth, sixth, and seventh before the Lions scored a singular run in the bottom of the eighth.
