WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball team swept Rollins 25-17, 25-19, 25-15 on Friday at Rubin Arena.
The Sailfish delivered a dominant performance with a .340 hitting percentage and recorded eight service aces. The home team also tallied 47 digs, effectively stifling the Tars' offensive efforts, holding RC to a .128.
Maggie Patterson led the defensive effort with 15 digs over three sets as libero.
Grace Reynolds directed the offense effectively, recording 38 assists, seven digs and two kills.
Kaley Board contributed significantly with eight kills and a service ace, accumulating 10.5 point while hitting .467.
Nae Jordan added nine kills and one block assist, totaling 9.5 points.
Sydney Corbett added seven kills, hitting .316.
Harper Stokes tallied five kills and a pair of blocks, hitting .625.

The first set began with the 'Fish establishing early momentum. Stokes and Board contributed with key kills, while Patterson's two consecutive service aces extended the home team's lead to 5-0. Despite a service error allowing RC to score, the Sailfish maintained their advantage.
The Tars attempted a comeback, narrowing the gap to 9-7, but the Sailfish responded swiftly. Corbett and
Kelsey Rogers added crucial points, aided by multiple attack errors from Rollins' side, which widened the lead to 17-11. Reynolds' effective setting played a significant role in building this advantage.
As the set closed, Jordan delivered with decisive kills, while the Sailfish capitalized on RC's errors to finish the set 25-17.
The 'Fish started the second set with a pivotal kill by Stokes, setting an early tone. However, the Tars responded with a series of points to take a brief lead. Rogers and Jordan contributed with key plays, including a block and a kill, which helped the 'Fish level the score at 6-6.
Reynolds orchestrated the offense effectively, assisting Board and
Sofia Augusto in a series of scoring plays that kept the match close.
Lexi Berry's service ace and kill helped the 'Fish shift momentum, building a slight advantage.
As the set progressed, Corbett and Jordan delivered crucial kills, extending the 'Fish's lead. A service ace by Augusto and a final block by Stokes and Berry sealed the set, closing it out with a 25-19 win to further the 'Fish's match advantage.
The 'Fish began the third set with a steady performance, exchanging early points with RC. Berry and Corbett contributed key kills, keeping the score close in the early stages. A service ace by Augusto and a series of kills from Reynolds and others helped the 'Fish establish a mid-set lead at 12-8.
As the set progressed, the 'Fish extended their advantage through effective plays by Rogers and Jordan. Reynolds facilitated the offense with crucial assists, enabling the 'Fish to pull ahead 17-10. Despite a brief RC rally, the 'Fish maintained their momentum with additional points from Berry and Jordan. The home team sealed the set with a decisive run, closing out the set 25-15.
PBA is back in action on Saturday, hosting Eckerd at the Rubin Arena at 4 p.m.
