WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Palm Beach Atlantic setter Grace Reynolds has been named the Sunshine State Conference Setter of the Week following an outstanding weekend leading the Sailfish to two conference victories. This mark's the third Setter of the Week award for Reynolds this season.
Reynolds directed the PBA offense with precision, averaging 10.5 assists, 3.0 digs, and 1.9 points per set across wins over Embry-Riddle and Florida Tech. Her performance guided the Sailfish to a reverse sweep of the Eagles before a dominant sweep of the Panthers. In Friday's comeback win over Embry-Riddle, Reynolds tallied 46 assists, seven kills on a .700 hitting percentage, 16 digs, and four total blocks. She followed with 38 assists, eight digs, and two blocks in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Florida Tech, helping PBA hit .306 as a team.
Her performance helped the Sailfish rise to fourth in the SSC standings. PBA is on a five-match winning streak and is now receiving votes in the AVCA top 25.
The Sailfish take on Nova Southeastern on Tuesday night. The match in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. takes place at 7 p.m.
