Romeoville, Ill. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's cross country team competed at the Lewis Crossover hosted by Lewis University on Saturday.
The Sailfish earned a 17
th place finish out of 37 teams, outrunning No. 28-ranked Biola. The day was highlighted by
Colten Lee's performance. Lee set a new program best in the 8k, finishing with a mark of 24:42.64. He bests Toinou Laigle's previous record time of 24:48.5 from 2022.
Lee led the way in 38
th followed by
Hayden Tank in 60
th with a personal best time of 24:58.92.
Charlie Roberts set a personal record of his own, placing 99
th with a time of 25:26.32.
Aedan Lydon earned 115
th in 25:34.47 to set a new personal record.
Alain Flores rounded out the PBA top five in 177
th with a mark of 26:01.24.
Joe Basara finished in 202
nd in 26:13.51 for a new personal record.
Hans Payne also set a new personal best of 26:51.08 to place 272
nd.
PBA returns to the Sunshine State for its final race of the regular season on Oct. 17 at the Ed Holloway Cross Country Classic in Lakeland.
