NEW ORLEANS, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's cross country team appeared in the NCAA DII Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll on Wednesday afternoon. The Sailfish are ranked 28th.

The Sailfish make their way into the poll for the first time this season and the first time since 2022 when the Sailfish women's team won the SSC Team Championship. It is also the second highest ranking in program history. The Sailfish are coming off the Lucian Rose Invite where they finished in 8th place as a team against a strong field featuring some of the top DII programs in the country including multiple SSC and south region opponents. Seniors Beth Sykes, Jeanne Corroy and Dominyka Petraskaite led the way for PBA in the meet all finishing within 15 seconds of each other.

The Sailfish return to the course to defend their ranking on Friday when they head to Lakeland, Florida to take on the FL Runners Invite hosted by Florida Southern.
