Women's Track Concludes Season at North Florida Meet

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's track team finished its season on Saturday at the East Coast Relays hosted by North Florida.
 
The two-day event included several personal records for the Sailfish. Ella Malone set a new personal best in the 1500m race. She finished 35th with a time of 4:52.33, improving on her top-10 time in school history. Gwendelyn Shamel finished 55th in the event running a 5:02.26. Nella Petersen earned 61st after running a 5:04.97. Angelina Baader (5:14.27) set a new personal record in 69th. Faith Kulis' time of 5:37.71 was good for 76th place.
 
Hannah Parker set a personal record while leading the way for the Sailfish in the 5000m. She finished 17thrunning 18:28.87. Margaret Myskowski set a personal record of her own, finishing 23rd with a time of 18:50.48. Allison Seng rounded out the PBA lineup in 27th with a time of 19:28.42.
 
Alyssa Benson posted PBA's best time in the 800m race. She finished 73rd with a time of 2:33.72. Caitlyn Christie earned 79th with a time of 2:40.51. Chloe Smith (2:43.48) came in 80th place.
 
Joni Dice was the lone representative for the 'Fish in the discus. She tossed 30.15m, good for 20th in the event.
