PETERSBURG, VA.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team finished 10th of 14 at the Saint Leo Griffin Invite on Tuesday. They played a total of three rounds and their best finish was in round one where they placed fifth.

The Saint Leo Griffin Invite began on Monday, Sept. 18 and the 'Fish were off to a great start in day one finishing fifth in the first round of play. We had three players finish in 36th which were Raines Holmes, Cade Coffey, and Justus Verge. We also had two players finish in 53rd which were Trey Teseiro and Niko Karoutsos. Round two the 'Fish bounced to ninth place but Raines Holmes had another notable finish at 10th place. This would be the best finish for PBA out of the three rounds.

Day two was the last round of play for the invite and the 'Fish finished 10th. Holmes remained the top finisher through all three of the rounds and shot an average of 72.7 which is an exact match to his average last week at the DII National Preview. 

The Sailfish are back at it again this Monday, Sept. 25 where they will travel to St. Augistine, Fla. to compete at the Flagler Jay Jennison Cup.
