CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's track team concluded its season on Saturday at the Lee Last Chance Meet, hosted by Lee University.
The Sailfish took four members of the squad to the meet.
Madelyn Rodriguez,
Dune Costes,
Aoife Mahony, and
Laura Georgelin represented PBA at the meet.
Mahony competed in the 800m race. She finished 16th in the event with a time of 2:19.55. She finished three seconds behind her personal best time.
Rodriguez led the way for the 'Fish in the 1500m. She finished 11th with a time of 4:36.45, three seconds behind her school-record pace. Mahony placed 20th in the race with a time of 4:51.58. Georgelin earned a 24th-place finish with a time of 4:58.39.
Costes competed in the 3000m steeplechase, breaking her program record. She finished third with a time of 11:10.86.
That marks the end of PBA's track season. The women's team saw five program records get broken this season. New school bests were set in the 800m, 1500m, 10k, 3000m steeplechase, and the 4x400m.
