After the Sailfish dropped the doubles point they swept across the board in singles action. On singles court six, PBA freshman
Marko Visontai cliched the match for the 'Fish. The Hungary native took down Jon William Karlstad 0-6, 6-4, 6-3. On singles court three,
Blake Williams picked up his fourth singles victory of the season over Sam Walker 6-1, 6-2.
Luis Eduardo Platas defeated Batu Ataseven 6-2, 6-3 for his 12th career singles win.
Peter Drager earned his first career singles victory over Eric Asakura 4-6, 6-2, 6-2. Additionally,
Juan Fernandez defeated Christian Kearns 6-2, 6-4 for his first singles win of the season. On singles court one
Roberto Binaghi defeated Esteve Agusti 3-6, 6-1, 7-5. For Binaghi the win marked his 14th career singles victory.
In doubles play, the PBA tandem of
Juanfer Contreras and Platas defeated Walker and Asakura 6-1 for their sixth doubles win of the season. Contreras and Platas lead the 'Fish in doubles play with a 6-2 record this season. On doubles court one, Williams and Visontai fell 6-2.
Michal Precikowski and
Axel Reich dropped their match 7-6 (7-2.)
