WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team dropped its match to the No. 11 Ferris State Bulldogs 5-2.
On singles court one, PBA's
Roberto Binaghi picked up his second singles win of the season over FSU's Erik Kovacs 7-6 (7-3), 6-3. The victory is Binaghi's 13th career win in singles play. Additionally,
Blake Williams extended his winning streak in singles play. The Georgia native won his third consecutive singles match over Yannic Mader 6-3, 6-4.
On singles court two,
Luis Eduardo Platas fell 6-3, 6-2.
Juanfer Contreras dropped his match in three sets 6-0, 2-6, 6-3.
Peter Drager was defeated 7-6, 6-4.
Juan Fernandez fell 6-3, 6-1.
The Sailfish dropped all three matches in doubles play. The tandem of
Marko Visontai and Williams fell 6-2. On doubles court two Contreras and Platas were defeated 6-3.
Michal Precikowski and
Kazuma Uematsu dropped their match 6-1.
Next, the Sailfish travel to Satellite Beach for a matchup with St. Mary's on Friday, Mar. 17.
