MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Earlier today, the Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team competed in the Battle at the Shores, hosted by Barry University. The Sailfish finished in ninth place out of 16 total teams.
William Hartford led the way for the Sailfish, finishing in the top ten after a solid final round. He scored three birdies on the day and finished the round -1. His stellar play placed him in a tie for seventh place.
Andrew Riley and
Jacob Shamblin were the second highest finishes for the 'Fish, tying for 29
th place with an overall score of +8. A.J. Ewart of Barry University was the individual winner with an overall tournament score of -5.
Barry University came away with the team victory, with three of their golfers finishing in the top five. For PBA,
Carl St-Arnaud finished in 73
rd place and
Caleb Lynady finished in a tie for 74
th to round out the final placements.
Will Schroeder competed as an individual golfer, finishing in a tie for 48
th place.
PBA will play their final tournament of the spring season on Apr. 10 in the Sunshine State Conference Championship.
