DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Earlier this morning, the Palm Beach Atlantic men's cross country team competed in the Sunshine State Conference Championship meet, hosted at Embry-Riddle. The 'Fish finished in fifth place out of seven SSC teams. 

Toinou Laigle earned SSC All-Championship team honors, leading the Sailfish in eighth place with a time of 26:38.3. Jake Lonsdale was the second highest 'Fish to cross the finish line. He would place 30th with a time of 27:29.5. Arthur Cosson from Saint Leo was the individual champion of the meet with a time of 25:55.2. Embry-Riddle earned the 2022 SSC Championship trophy with four of their runners finishing in the top five. 

Ethan Wattles finished in 46th, Zachariah Shealy finished in 55th, and Jackson Overholt finished in 57th to round out the highest finishes for the Sailfish. 

PBA will now prepare for the NCAA South Region on Nov. 9 in Lakeland, Fla.
