NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Earlier today, the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released their region ranking for week six, just before most teams compete in their conference championships. The Palm Beach Atlantic men's cross country team moved up to eighth place in the South Region poll, moving up one spot from their most recent placement. 

The Sailfish have had a solid season so far. They most recently placed 20th at the UAH Invitational, totaling two top 20 finishes and three top five finishes this season. Toinou Laigle has led the Sailfish all season, placing 69th at the UAH Invitational and posting his best time of 24:48.50. Jake Lonsdale has also been contributing to the Sailfish's success this season as well, most recently finishing in 117th place at UAH Invitational. 

The 'Fish have been a steady team all season and are looking to make a major push with the Sunshine State Conference Championship meet coming up on Nov. 5.
