WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic came into today's doubleheader against the Barry Bucs riding a three-game winning streak behind a hot offense. Game 1: PBA 3, Barry 7
Drew Holweger got the ball to open up game one of the series against the Bucs for PBA. A leadoff hit by pitch and walk were knocked in by two singles as Barry rallied early for a four-run first inning. The Bucs added one more run in the second as Holweger lasted 3.0 innings giving up six hits and seven runs.

Alec Tauro for PBA's opening run followed by a
Ramon Machado double that brought in
Kyle Kuramoto and
Sebastian Salado. With the score 7-3, the Sailfish did bring the tying run to the plate as
Robert Fabelo struck out with the bases loaded.

Game 2: PBA 2, Barry 6
After dropping game one, the Sailfish turned to
Matt Leslie in the seven-inning game two of the doubleheader. Leslie looked like he had his good stuff early on as he struck out the first two batters he faced as he rolled through the first six batters with no damage. The Bucs put together a two-out rally in the second a walk and a steal scored on a single to center as Barry jumped out to a 1-0 lead. He looked good through the third and the fourth before he ran into trouble in the fifth the third time through the order. Barry plated five in the innings that saw two Sailfish defensive errors as Leslie exited the game after 4.1 innings and six runs, four earned, surrendered.
Brad VanAsdlen struck out his first batter after coming in after Leslie and got out of the inning but before surrendering a two-out double that scored two inherited runners. He went 1.2 innings allowing two hits and no runs charged to him.
The Sailfish offense was kept down once again for the most part by Buc's starter Arrison Perez.
Carlos Lara tied the game 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth after singling home
Sean Houck who led the innings off with a double. Down 6-1 in the last frame,
Ramon Machado's double scored
Franklin Mundo Jr., but the Sailfish were unable to capitalize on their seven hits in the shortened game against Perez who went the distance to earn the win.
Machado went 2-for-3 at the plate while Seltzer, Houck, Salado,
Dylan Tosto, and Lara all recorded one hit but the Sailfish left seven on base in the game. Perez earned the win for Barry to move to 2-0 on the year while Leslie was hit with the loss.
