MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic men's golf team finished competition in their third event of the season at the Space Coast Collegiate Championship this afternoon. After three rounds over a three-day span, the Sailfish finished in 15th in a field of 81 individuals representing 15 teams.

The Sailfish were led on the week by William Hartford who put together three solid rounds of 76,74,78 on his way to a tied for 46th place finish. The next best PBA finisher was Will Schroeder who closed the tournament by firing a round of 73 today after opening with rounds of 80 and 77 to finish tied for 54th. Lynn's Jorge Villar came away from the three days the tournament victor finishing eight-under-par as the Fighting Knights strolled to a 14 shot victory over Barry.

Competing in his first collegiate event as an individual competitor, PBA's Cade Tjomsland finished tied for 68th after closing strong and shooting rounds of 79,82,76. Finishing tied for 79th, Justin Guilford opened with two rounds of 83 before wrapping up the event with a 79. Three shots back of Guilford, Mitchell Nolan shot 80,86,82 while his teammate Niels Schmidlin struggled the first two days but bounced back with an 81 in his final 18 holes. 

The Sailfish have two more events ahead in their 2021 season as they are scheduled to compete in the Battle at the Shores on April 5-6 hosted by Barry and close the year at the Sunshine State Conference Championship in Largo, Fla.
