SAINT LEO, Fla. – Earlier this morning, the Palm Beach Atlantic men's cross country team competed in the NCAA DII South Region Meet.
Jack Blyth, Lake Lonsdale, and
Mitchell Gray were the three representatives for the Sailfish, going up against 134 runners.
Jack Blyth was the first to finish, coming in 33
rd place with a time of 33:25. Blyth's time was his career best as well as a new school record in the 10k race.
Jake Lonsdale was the second to cross for PBA at 41
st place and a time of 33:49.
Mitchell Gray finished in 90
th place with a time of 36:04, which sets his personal best for the 10k race.
Shane Bracken from Saint Leo was the individual winner with a time of 31:21. Lee University came away as the South Region winners with four of their runners placing in the top 15.
The Sailfish will now prepare for the upcoming track season in the spring.
