MELBOURNE, Fla -- The Palm Beach Atlantic cross country team had three of their leading runners earn Sunshine State Conference honors this afternoon.
Dune Costes,
Allison Seng, and
Jake Lonsdale were named to the SSC All-Conference teams for their performances in the SSC Conference Championship Meet.
Costes, a senior from Soustons, France, claims an All-SSC First Team honor for the first time in her PBA career after earning a Second Team award in 2020. Her time of 22:43 in the SSC Championship meet was her career best and earned her a seventh place overall finish.Â
Allison Seng, a junior from Highlands Ranch, Colo., was awarded All-SSC Second Team. This is her second time making an All-SSC team after earning First Team honors in 2020. Seng's time of 22:56 in the conference meet was her career best and placed her in the top 10 overall.

Jake Lonsdale earned All-SSC Second Team honors as the sole representative for the men's cross country team. Lonsdale has consistently been the lead runner for the Sailfish this season. His first place finish at the Palm Beach Atlantic Meet helped the Sailfish clinch an overall win. His time of 25:40 in the SSC Conference Meet was his best time of the season and earned him an 11
th place finish.
The top-14 runners at the SSC Championship Meet earned All-SSC honors. To go along with those conference awards, Florida Southern's Mason Jones and Tampa's Zoe Jarvis were selected as Runner of the Year. Brandon Shea from Embry-Riddle and Saint Leo's Faye Dervan were named Freshman of the Year. The Eagles coach Mike Rosolino earned Coach of the Year for the men and the Lions coach Kent Reiber earned Coach of the Year for the women.
Costes, Seng, and Lonsdale will compete this weekend in the NCAA South Region Meet in Saint Leo, Fla.
