A kill from Gregerson and a kill from Cundiff ended a 25-4 set win for PBA. The 'Fish hit a match-best .526 in the set. The Sailfish defense did not allow a single kill from Shorter in the second.

PBA kept its momentum rolling in the third set. An 11-2 run with three Sailfish blocks and aces from Cundiff and Smith gave the 'Fish a 15-9 lead.
