SAINT LEO, Fla. – Earlier this morning, the Palm Beach Atlantic men's cross country team competed in the NCAA DII Preview, hosted by Saint Leo University. The Sailfish finished in 10
th place out of 13 teams and 128 individual runners.
Jack Blyth was the first to finish for the Sailfish at 32
nd place with a time of 26:36.
Jake Lonsdale was the second to cross at 36
th and a time of 26:53. Patrick Kiprop from Fresno Pacific was the top runner of the meet with a time of 24:15. Wingate came away as the overall team winners with four of their runners placing in the top 10.
For the Sailfish,
Mitchell Gray finished in 69
th place with a time of 28:06, which is his personal best 8k time on the season.
Zach Rohrbough came in 112nd with a time of 30:19 and
Isaac Studebacker rounded out the top five finishers for PBA in 119
th place and a time of 30:55.
The Sailfish will compete again on Oct. 9 for the St. Thomas Meet in Miami Gardens, Fla.
