CORAL GABLES, Fla. – PBA track and field competed in the Hurricane Alumni Invitational this weekend, in their second to last event of the season.
On Friday night, Jon Paul Ogle competed in the javelin throw and posted a distance of 45.09 m which was good for 15th.
In the women's 1500m Avery Knehans led the way for the 'Fish with a time of 5:23.70, while Joshua Reed had a solid showing on the men's side with a time of 4:16.63 to lead the Sailfish.
Denny Murphy led the 'Fish in the 400m with a time of 51.85 while Jack Blyth ran a 2:05.67 in the 800m.
In the women's 500m run, Cami Rickenbach finished fourth overall out of 18 competitors with a 19:21.85. On the men's side, Ty Fisher fared well on the day, finishing with a time of 15:46.46 to finish 5th overall. Tyler Ketcham and Tim Koritz also placed in the top-10 of the event.
Murphy also competed in the 200m run and finished with a time of 23.32.
PBA will close out their 2018-19 season at the USF South Florida Collegiate in Tampa, Fla. on April 19-20.
