WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – No. 17 Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis dropped a tough battle to No. 5 Saint Leo on Saturday, 6-1.
Carlos Niemeyer secured the lone point for PBA, winning at No. 6 singles 2-6, 7-6 (5), 13-11 over David Perez. Pietro de Silva also went three sets but was unable to defeat Aurel Ciocanu, falling 4-6, 6-2, 10-3 at No. 3.
In doubles play the 'Fish were able to win at No. 1 as Thomas Salmon and de Silva defeated Ciocanu and Willem Van Den Akker 6-3.
PBA returns to the court on April 5 as they travel to Rollins in Winter Park for a 3 p.m. match.
