BOCA RATON, Fla. – No. 14 Palm Beach Atlantic was knocked off by No. 17 Lynn on Saturday in an SSC contest as the Fighting Knights won 5-2.
The 'Fish picked up their lone points in singles action as Pietro de Silva and Rodolfo Hasegawa were able to pick up victories. De Silva earned his victory over Florian Clemares in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. Hasegawa also needed three sets to pick up his win, defeating Gabriel Hocevar 6-3, 7-6 (5), 10-7.
Carlos Niemeyer also went to three sets down at the No. 6 spot despite falling to Robin Calais 4-6, 6-3, 10-4. Lynn took the other three singles matches in straight sets and won the three doubles matches in convincing fashion, 6-0, 6-2 and 6-2.
PBA will have a week off before hosting Saint Leo on March 30 at 1 p.m.
