PBA Track Competes at NSU Shark Invitational

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic track team competed at the NSU Sharks Invitational on Tuesday evening at the Ansin Sports Complex. 

The top finishers on the day from both the men's and women's side came in the 1500 meter run, as Ty Fisher finished third with a time of 4:16.56 on the men's side and Cami Rickenbach finished fourth with a time of 5:15.47 on the women's side.  Tim Koritz finished fourth in the men's 1500M at 4:18.31 while Tyler Ketcham also placed in the top-10 at 4:22.52.  Katie Kanagy ran a 5:22.29 to finish sixth while Jessica Lykins was next with a 5:33.16 to finish eighth.

Rickenbach and Kanagy also placed well in the Women's 800M as Rickenbach ran a 2:38.83 to finish fourth and Kanagy ran a 2:38.99 to place fifth.  Jack Blyth led the way in the men's 800M as he ran a 2:05.53 and finished fifth.  Koritz, Ketcham, and Fisher all placed in the top-10 as well in the event.

In the 400M Crystal Agumagu led the way for the women, placing 10th with a time of 1:04:61.  Denny Murphy ran a 53:04 to pace the Sailfish with a 13th-place finish.

In the women's 200M, it was once again Agumagu leading the way with a time of 28.18 while Tatiana Etienne was next at 28.98. 

The Sailfish men posted a second-place finish in the 1600M relay with a time of 3:40.45, while both teams also had top-10 finishers in the shot put, as Emilia Murillo finished seventh with 8.29 meters while Jon Paul Ogle led the men with 9.25 meters.

PBA will be back in action this weekend, as they will travel to Coral Gables, Fla. to compete in the Hurricane Invitational.
