ST. LEO, Fla.- Palm Beach Atlantic's men's golf team competed in the Saint Leo Invitational on Monday and Tuesday where they completed three rounds of golf. The Sailfish finished 11th overall as a team and finished with a team score of +46. Keiser University came in first for the tournament with a team score of -7 while Nova Southeastern finished second at -4.
The Sailfish were once again lead by Martin Westerlund who finished six over par to give him an overall finish of tied for 24th. Westerlund shot even on his third round of the tournament to keep him in the top 25. Alex Wilson was the next lowest scorer for the 'Fish as he shot eight over which gave him the tie for 30th place. Ben Clarke finished 15 over par while Diego Buttironi finished two strokes back at 17 over.
Other Sailfish to compete were Carter Smith who shot 24 over and William Hartford who shot 31 over.
The Sailfish will be back on March 3 as they tee off in the Panther Invitational in Viera, Fla.
